The Anime Party's Constitution Club Description and Purpose: The Purpose of the Anime Party is to expand awareness of cultural diversity through the appreciation of various types of media, such as film, graphic novels, books, music, games, etc. To fulfill this purpose club participants will privately review media for discussions at club meetings.
Membership Levels:
Nonmembers:
Nonmembers are any club participants whose membership has not been voted on or whose membership has not been approved. Nonmembers may only vote on the dues policy amendment and regular club business.
Members:
Members are those participants whose membership has been approved. Members may run, nominate, and vote on officer positions as well as vote on all club business.
Founders:

It is the responsibility of all founders to maintain the ideals the club was founded on within the club so that the club does not deviate far from its purpose.
The founders may call emergency meetings of seventy-five percent of the founders to make immediate decisions regarding the club. In the event no founders remain as active members, a minimum of seventy-five percent of the membership must be convened to call a vote.
Offices:
New officers shall be nominated within three weeks of the end of each semester and voted upon no later than the last week of the semester. Nominees must have been members for at least one entire semester. In the event an office becomes vacant nominations and a vote can be held at anytime to fill the position.
President:
The president is responsible for enforcing order within the club as well as acting as club historian.
Secretary:
The secretary will keep a record of the agenda and events for each meeting.
Treasurer:
The treasurer is responsible for any club money and for keeping a detailed record of all collections and expenditures.
Public Relations Manager:
The public relations manager is responsible for club publicity.
Membership Approval and Denial:
Membership status shall be voted on a minimum of twice a semester, however there is no limit on frequency. In order for membership status to change (approved, denied, or revoked) there must be a two-thirds majority of the members in agreement.
Prospective members are expected to meet the following University Studies Objectives:
Membership may be revoked in cases when a member’s behavior reflects negatively upon the club and its members.
Amendments:
The constitution may only be changed through amendment thereby leaving the original constitution in tact. Constitutional amendments must be approved by three-fourths of the membership in order to be added to the constitution.
Dues Policy Amendment:
At the beginning of each semester a Dues Policy Amendment shall be proposed and voted on by all active participants. In order for the amendment to pass there must be a three-fourths majority in agreement.
Meetings:
At the beginning of each semester a general meeting schedule shall be proposed and voted on by all active participants. In order for the vote to pass there must be a three-fourths majority in agreement.
Website:
The club website shall reflect the club, it’s maintenance therefore be the responsibility of the founders. If no founders remain as active members, or another member is much more qualified a vote can be called to appoint a member to maintain the website.
